BPAL's Halloween update: so. Much. PUMPKIN.

Aug 28, 2007 14:14

The BPAL update for the Halloween season went live on Sunday. Because everyone needed the world to contain more limited edition perfume, yo. Alas, 2007 did not see a return of my beloved Trick or Treat (candy corn perfume for the win), although it did see a completely revamped Pumpkin Patch, with five entirely new, entirely awesome pumpkin scents. To be specific:

* Pumpkin with pear, white wine grapes, and jasmine-laced tea.
* Pumpkin with tobacco, champa flower, carnation, and tonka.
* Pumpkin with white chocolate, caramel, pomegranate, and cream.
* Pumpkin with cactus blossom, sage, and sweetgrass.
* Pumpkin with benzoin, bourbon vanilla, lemon peel, neroli, blood orange, and red ginger.

BPAL notes that smell awful on me: white musk, red musk, strawberry, amber. BPAL notes that smell awesome on me: pumpkin, pear, tobacco, caramel, ginger, and bourbon vanilla. Note what all this year's pumpkin patch scents do and do not contain. Thank you, BPAL, for complicating my budget.

(On a less fluffy note, no, I am not actually complicating my budget with BPAL. I wouldn't be scrambling for funds for OVFF if I had a complicate-okay budget. But a girl can lust senselessly over fripperies. It's one of the beautiful things about being a girl. Or a boy. Or a sentient toaster. You get to senselessly lust.)

But wait! There's more! This year's Samhain blend contains pumpkin, and so do two of the scents in the Trick or Treat Inquisition (randomly selected for your scenting pleasure). SO MUCH PUMPKIN. WANT. And that doesn't even touch on the main scent set for this Halloween, the Haunted House, where you can select which of the various creepy rooms you want to wander around smelling like.

*sigh* It's a good thing I'm a good girl, that's all I'm sayin'.
