I worked 9-5 today because Dave had to go to a funeral and Sue needed help for the day shift. It was super busy and I got some tips, which I keep in my shoe.

My dad came home yesterday. He's... perfectly fine. It makes no sense. lol All of his tests were completely negating his initial ECG. His blood is fine. My mom doubts there even was a blood clot, and maybe it was a result of faulty machinery. He still got like, medication, though.

But for now, he is fine. :]

My dad was released from the hospital today. They did a ton of tests on him. Blood work, stress tests, ECGs and something he doesn't know the name of, but he went under a machine that moved around. Like a CAT Scan for your heart. Everything was fine. He was normal. So they sent him home, but still with some meds to make sure he's healthy because I ( Read more... )

Oh man... the dinner yesterday that I didn't really want to go to... was so much fun!

My family from Florida was there, as well as their (blood) family, and their family. My cousin, Sais, thought he'd let me have another go at drinking. He gave me this French vanilla vodka mudshake, which was absolutely disgusting. I don't like milky alcoholic ( Read more... )

I presented my Writer's Craft summative on Satire today. It went v. v. well. :] I read and excerpt from Decline and Fall by Evelyn Waugh - which I finished last night; nice book - and it made people laugh. They laughed at a few excerpts we read.
