Tonight was the first YPI dance since 1998 that I was not in attendance. Oddly enough, I am completely fine with this fact.

Umm...today I went to the YPI dance. It was very good times--I went up with Virginia an' Ben an' Ian an' Danielle an' Hanna. It was a very good time. Except Zoe really was unhappy, which was very sad, because who wants a 11-year-old to be homesick and miserable? Who? I hope I made her feel better; I really do. So I visited Marissa this weekend! It was mad awesome. We went to a party a friend of hers was having, and we saw Cars, and we went to the Long Beach beach and were almost killed by some really ginormous waves. Seriously. So I already knew that seraphictears was coming to Drew on Friday for an a capella concert...but apparently ANDREW WHITE is coming as part of the Haverford group, the Humtones--he just messaged me through Facebook. I am very excited, and just though I would share that with all of you.

War of the Worlds is really cool. Really imaginative aliens and stuff. I didn't feel that strongly about it for the most part, and I didn't cotton to the ending. But it's still a very good movie. Buffa IMed me yesterday. Apparently, Bryson isn't going to be a counselor because he had to work (as an aside, he's interning on Zach Braff's next movie). So I have no idea what camp is gonna be like, but according to him all of the guy counselors are new? Which may turn out to be pretty weird. But managable, to be sure.
