War of the Worlds is really cool. Really imaginative aliens and stuff. I didn't feel that strongly about it for the most part, and I didn't cotton to the ending. But it's still a very good movie. Do I contradict myself? I contain multitudes. Or maybe I just can never make up my mind. I also finished Angels in America. Really good. I love Mary Louise-Parker. Even though I don't know anything about her apart from that and The West Wing--and everyone said Pacino was horrible, but I didn't think so at all! And even when the writing seems to far-fetched for me, I love it anyway. Oh, and Emma Thompson as the angel? Who wouldn't hit that? Yeah, I thought not.

So tomorrow, I embark on the strange world of counselorhood. Should be pretty fun, as long as none of the kids die on me. I think when I get there I'll call Annie for some sage advice. What say you? I probably won't be online until then, but I'll be checking my email and probably posting, either normal or phone (and contrary to what Marissa thinks, I'll be on the phone with her a lot). And if anyone cares,

That should be right--I stole it from what Cathleen put last year.

YPIers: come to the reunion. Please. Totally. Do it. Also, if anyone has any idea how to get the Kowals from Hampton CT (near Willimantic) to Middlebury, please let me know. I was talking to Alisa about it, and I was stumped.

One last thing: I might not check my friends list in detail much for these two weeks, and I'll be out of touch I'm sure. And I doubt this is likely to happen, and I probably just want to make a random threat. But! If any of you give plot details for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince before I've read it, which I plan to do in one sitting, the first day I have off, you are DEAD to me. Okay? Okay.

Love you all! Love you all.
