Diaper load is in the dryer to dry. The diapers always take so long. Then I have one more load to put in. I can't imagine a life where I did two loads of laundry one day a week. I just did laundry Sunday, at least two loads, and three today ( Read more... )

Well, so far the only thing I've completed is the gingerbread. For the first time in my life I understand the need for a Floured BOARD. It saves the counter beautifully when one has needs to cut out her cookies from brown paper patterns with knives due to lack of Proper Cookie Cutters ( Read more... )

Following some sage advice from a krikketgirl, this mother decided to go ahead and start transitioning M to her crib in the other room. First step: portable crib at foot of our bed. This way she's by neither of our heads (specifically mine), but still handy to fetch when nom time cometh. Going to try this for a few nights and see if it helps us (and her) ( Read more... )

Achy breaky Jael has laundry load number 2 of 3 going. I don't understand how it is that suddenly we're doing 2.5-3 loads a week. Our child isn't even here yet. It USED to be just two loads.

I vacuumed upstairs as well. That was interestingly painful.
