Crazy weather, snowing like mad and I came back from the shops just in time to watch the press-conference where Håkan Juholt, the now former leader of the major opposition party, the Social Democrats resigned after just 10 months. It's seriously snowy here again. Started snowing early this morning and didn't stop until maybe an hour ago. And there will be more snow tomorrow. I'd just gotten used to seeing the ground again after the thawing last weekend - even if it got colder again very quickly at least I could use my bike - but now we're back in winter wonderland. I stayed in today, since it snowed like mad, was incredibly cold AND windy, even though the sun was up. Will try to head into town tomorrow to collect a parcel and do some shopping. This weather makes me hibernate even more than usual. But look at the view from my balcony, not that fun!

It started snowing this morning in Lund, and I had to wait for the bus in very wet snow. Had a pretty awful train ride up, so many people and not enough seats. I had to stand until Helsingborg but managed to snatch a seat then. The snow followed us almost all the way to Gothenburg, even if it didn't start snowing here until tonight ( Read more... )

It's 33 degrees Celsius (90 degrees Fahrenheit), and I've just come back from a walk to the local Coop. Takes about 15 minutes to walk there one way. Oh joy for doing it in this heat. Some crazy guys were practicing football at the local grounds, but most of them just lay on the grass. SO bloody hot today.

Did a stint of work at the gym front desk this weekend, and have to work there tomorrow night as well, so will take the midday train up the day after.
