God it's really getting autumn-y now. So cold that I had to wear my winter coat yesterday, and I was happy I had it today as well. Went cycling with my sister and it started hailing like mad, then two minutes later sun, and then rain again. Yes, it is indeed October. Watching ep 11 of season 1of NCIS tonight and the NASA geek-love is very cute. I'm pretty tired after last night's intensive spinning class. Was dead on my feet after it, and fell asleep by 23:30. Which meant that Iwoke up at 06:00 this morning! So I should go to be asap.

Quite late this year, no? Been cold for a week at least and now we finally got the snowfall. Not that we got a LOT of snow, but a  nice white cover over the roofs of my neighbour's houses, and of course all the bikes. I've done nothing but move between my sofa and the kitchen today. Slept quite a bit and read a little in the sixth Sookie Stockhouse vampire romance. God, that series is starting to annoy me SO much, really falling into the LHK-grid of too many love interests and a bloody annoying heroine, yet I still do kind of want to know what happens. I finally read Sheridan Le Fanu's Carmilla during the week-end. Such a lot of subtext. Interesting aspects of vampirism and the physiology of vampires. I found Carmilla's arrival in the story most fascinating. Who was the woman in the carriage? The dark skinned, old and ugly woman wearing a turban?
