I made my now traditional Advent Saffron Cake  this evening. They were out of saffron at the store, apparently this year's Iranian crop was much better than last year so the price isn't as crazy high as it was last year, ergo more people buy the stuff.. . I'm just back from cleaning my staircase. They've re-established the 4-week rota in our building again, every apartment-owner has to clean the stairs once ever 4th week. I'm still annoyed and wouldn't mind the extra 100 SEK on the rent for not having to do it, but they decided it at a meeting I didn't attend so my own bloody fault for not caring ( Read more... )

I bought a cheap Advent star today, which really means that it's Christmas soon. There was even a tree outside the local shop, even if they still hadn't put in the lights. I wonder if they put up the lights in the big tree in Lundagård this week-end. It is so much darker now that one wants to light as many decoration-lights as possible. i'm still ( Read more... )
