on saturday we went to dallas to see andy's sister once more before she went back home to ecuador for school.  she's been a nanny to their cousin this summer.  little austin is getting bigger... he is crawling and loves making noise.  he's nearly 10 months old and completely intimidates me.  i know that reads strange but i feel less and less ready ( Read more... )

i finally bought the shorts and sweater i posted here a few weeks ago.  i know that if i keep going back to something i really like it - and i kept going back to that!  i liked it so much i even had to hunt down the pieces and get them from different stores.  the quest is over.  i have secured them and i cannot wait to wear it!  ;D

it's been a sobering past few weeks... a lot of loss around me.  not to me, thankfully, but via friends and acquaintances.  first, one of my campers from my summers working at camp is missing from her bloomington, indiana college town.  she was not only in my group, but in my bunk.  she was last seen june 3rd at 4am walking toward her apartment.  ( Read more... )
