i can't get a life if my heart's not in it
wow, we're halfway through the week-before-the-three-day-weekend aka the beginning of summer. i have bathing suits ready, we're going to grill some celebratory (hebrew national) hot dogs and hamburgers, and am going to buy tickets to see the hangover II today at work. so we are prepared!
this sunday, may 29th, is my favorite musician in the entire world's 44th birthday. happy birthday mr. noel thomas david gallagher!
let's see, last weekend i bought andy's anniversary gift. he's been going out motorcycle riding with friends he met at a texas riders event. so now he'll actually know where he's going! nice.
i've never been a "birthday dress" kind of girl, instead i've become an "anniversary dress" fiend. every year in the middle of may i start looking for something to wear to our anniversary dinner. i am not an easy fit in dresses... my chest prevents me from wearing a lot of the things i might like... the one i purchased is from white house black market, a store i am quite skeptical of. a lot of their designs are nice, but their fabric quality and cut lacks in my opinion. however, when i saw this dress was cotton my interest was peaked. i went to the whbm at the domain and tried on a size smaller and although they didn't have the size i needed they were able to call and put it on hold at the one at barton creek one (who knew we have 3 whbms! wow that's a lot). so we went and it was a perfect fit (plus i had 20% off).

that's pretty much what i'll be wearing. we're going to eat at 34th street cafe. for big events we always like to try somewhere new. this place cannot be as bad as the melting pot was last year! there is just no way, that place was so bad.
the last week of spring i am definitely good on spring clothes... i might need a couple of new pairs of shorts, but i am waiting for the lilly pulitzer ones to come out. otherwise, i am hoping to start saving for fall...
