rumor has it:
the last two weekends have had great weather. we haven't done much of anything with them just resting, housework, grocery shopping, and doing some grilling. the weekend before last we went to the pool; however, this weekend there was a party going on so we decided not to stay. no big deal - there is plenty of time left! weekends are so short! i think we need to do something about extending them a few days.
the acl lineup was announced today and we aren't buying day passes (nor did we get a wristband a few weeks ago). i'd like to see coldplay, but not really at a festival. i've seen bright eyes, brandi carlile, and arcade fire before. i really thought death cab for cutie would be there!
now, that doesn't mean i won't enter contests... ;)
i have been keeping up with loosing weight, i'm down to the lower tens place as of this week. which means i'm just about halfway to my goal! i hope to be nearly done by september, since i keep reading that the last pounds come off slower than the first. in september i plan to start taking yoga and i want to look good in the required spandex. *lol* why am i waiting until september? well, because i will be swimming this summer. i don't want to pile on too much exercise at one time, have my body get used to it, and then have to either a) maintain it or b) re-loose weight gained when i quit one exercise. i have already felt the need to intensify my bike riding in the morning since my body has gotten so used to it.
gossip girl ended last night and omg! cliff hangers. gosh i hope vanessa doesn't come back. i can't believe she took credit for dan's book. and what is dan going to do when he figures it out? who's pregnancy test was that? who did serina choose? gah.
american idol is about to wrap up and (as usual) i am getting bored with it. i haven't cared who left since paul did but i was super surprised james left last week. i expected james and scotty to be in the final. so now i guess it'll be lauren and scotty. i like haley, and i voted for her last week when the judges were mean to her for no reason, but i don't think she'll make it past this week. well, i will be super surprised if she does anyway.
even though all the shows have ended (except big bang theory that ends this week) at least the summer shows are starting! the real housewives of new york started a month ago and new jersey started this week. plus the other shows we liked last summer rizolli & isles, covert affairs, and rookie blue are all coming back.
it's may and i've already chosen my fall shoe purchases. ;) time to start saving!
