[The image opens on King Charles - that is, Morgan Adam's pet monkey - sitting on the check-out counter of the library.]

If we're all going to die of the deadly Motaba virus, it won't be from this guy. Will we, you little monkey? Yes, you're a monkey.

[Yes, he did just say that latter in baby-talk. In fact, all of his dialogue sounds rather rehearsed. His hand appears, holding out a piece of cheese to the animal. After a moment, he turns the camera around on himself and lowers his voice.

So the monkey won't hear.]

I don't know where it came from, but if I turn green and start foaming at the mouth, you know which monkey to use for the vaccine. Then kill it. I'd do it myself, but I think Gimli might be watching me.

[He turns the camera around to point it at the shelves and does a quick pan of the library. Ardent isn't in any of the frames, but Randal's point is more that there are a lot of places to hide.

And back to the monkey for a moment, which is now watching Randal in a way that could be considered "ominous", but only if you're afraid of the deadly Motaba virus. He turns the camera back to himself.]

Since I have everyone's attention, who left underwear in my room? If I diddled someone's pooter, I think I have a right to be informed. Especially if it was Rose. Was it you, Rose?

I knew it. You couldn't resist the Cock.

[He digs in his pocket and produces an index card with tick boxes.]

In the event of it not being Rose, will the real underwear-less chick please step forward, claim your panties, and fill out this comment card, rating your sexual experience on a scale of one to ten. "1" for "awesome", "10" for "earth-shatteringly orgasmic". Also, preferences for next time, right here on the back. Write legibly.

[OOC: They might be Molly's. They might not be. They might be no one's, and just wandered into his room from the laundry room.

Or someone else could have made a really bad decision. If you want to claim them, feel free.]

is it safe?, molly carpenter, the deadly motaba virus, lord of the library
