Saturday I went to a free dog behavior workshop at the SPCA (humans only). It was pretty interesting. Thursday - Spent New Years Eve with family at my cousin's house. Casey spent the day and night with a friend (I dropped her off on the way to work that morning). Saturday - slept late, puttered around, took Willow for a walk, and then picked Casey up from her friend's house and we went straight to the animal shelter for our volunteer shift. ( Rambly details about the shift, including a rant about fellow volunteers )

There was a shooting in downtown Orlando yesterday. A guy that was laid off 2 years ago went back and shot up his old office building. He killed one person and injured several others. Crazy. I called my mom when I heard it was going on because she works at City Hall, but I'd actually forgotten that Casey was on a field trip at the Science ( Read more... )

Casey had a lot of fun at Horror Nights Thursday and slept over at her friend's house as planned, except without so much of the sleep part, so she opted out of coming to work with me Friday and instead went to bed when I dropped her off at home.
