Hey I'm looking to do volunteer work as soon as possible for a non-profit organization. Any recommendations out there?

My boyfriend and I are looking to do some volunteer work in the Northtowns area. We'd like something that has us mentoring or working with people. Preferably, something not religiously affiliated. Any ideas?

Also, any good recreation clubs in the area? I play roller derby, so I'd like something a little tamer ;)
