Oh, absoLUTEly it's weird. But yeah, all your reasons are good, and as long as there are really truly no bad feelings between Alex and you, I'd do it. If I was the other guy, I'd be mildly freaked out, but you're cute and boobalicious and come well recommended, so I'd probably go for it too. Just saying.

Haha. Well, to be fair, I don't think that either of us is harboring any bad feelings towards the other--we hung out Saturday for his birthday and had a great (PLATONIC) time. I think he just knows two cool people that he thinks might be cool together and thought of setting it up. This is a very "Alex" thing to do. *g*

well, I could see you feeling a bit odd about the situation, but what will it hurt? Set it up so you meet somewhere neutral for a cup of coffee and if you don't like the guy, no harm done. I'm guessing Alex has your best interests at heart in this.

Oh, this was back at the beginning of May, so it's been awhile. It was basically one of those cases of one party not being as into it as the other, romance-wise. It happens. We've decided to be badass good buddies instead.

And now he's setting me up. So, an all-purpose ex! :)

But yep, Alex is definitely a great guy--just not the one for me, is all. *shrugs*

(Is your piece about "being single while all of your friends are attached" up yet? I live this situation, so I'm definitely going to check it out!)
