well, I could see you feeling a bit odd about the situation, but what will it hurt? Set it up so you meet somewhere neutral for a cup of coffee and if you don't like the guy, no harm done. I'm guessing Alex has your best interests at heart in this.

I'm sure that he does, and I'm really okay with the whole thing, actually. It's just fun to hear everyone's opinions. ;)

And yeah--Alex offered to come along as a "buffer" for the first date if it happens, but I dunno...I think that that might be even MORE weird, you know? ;)

Hehe. See, you say that, but 75% of the time it would be the most boring thing ever. It's just that last 25% that's insane! ;)

But yep, apparently his friend took him up on his offer to come along, so I'll just have to roll with it this first go-round. Alex is pretty smart, though, so hopefully he'll "have some errand to run" or something if it looks like things are going well. Hehe.
