I had my birthday celebration with my whole family today, so we ate lunch at the wharf and then went to my grandma's house. After that, we had dinner and obviously, I stuffed my face--because I thought, "only once a year, right?"

Okay, so today I didn't get nearly as much writing done as I said I would (I'm making up for it right now), but today was so good! Michelle and I baked an awesome carrot cake which should have been called a sugar cake with carrot strips in it, but it was tasty nonetheless. Our first baked-from-scratch cakes!

Okay, happy feeling gone. Sort of.

I didn't make final callbacks. This was sort of a bummer because I guess I had been expecting to at least make it that far, especially since I'd made it my first time and my guy friend who also auditioned this time said almost everybody who made it to callbacks made it to finals, too.
