I HIGHLY recommend everyone check out the artist Janelle Monae. She's simply awesome. I saw her video for "Many Moons" yesterday and it jabbed into my heart and soul like a needle filled with euphoria. Think Andre 3000, Diana Ross, Judy Garland (yes, Judy Garland), and Cee-Lo. So it's my second day in the wonderful city of Denver. And I must say, thus far I'm having quite the love affair with this place. Yesterday I went to the botanical gardens. Simply beautiful! So I just read that Heath Ledger died. And I find that mind-boggling. I didn't really care that much for him. He was a pretty good actor and everything, but I didn't salivate when I saw him on screen. But to learn that he's gone from the world is...weird. So today was the first day of my last semester at UNA. I was thinking about that today as I was walking to class. I hope hope hope that all goes well. I already have to drop one of my classes because the professor told us that if we're not education majors we shouldn't take the class.
