I was quite good yesterday.  Pilates involved a fair amount of floor work with knee bending and 'waving our legs around.'  Slowly.  Then I did and put out a load of washing, cleaned downstairs and made a large pot of soup - beetroot, among other things, taking care not to get beetroot anywhere it might stain.  On getting up to get more soup my left ( Read more... )

The cloud came over late on yesterday afternoon.  Last night the rain started. Aujour d'hui il pleut! There has been another mass shooting in the States.  Nine people are dead and seven injured at a college in Oregon.  The twenty-year-old gunman was killed in a police shootout.  So that's done it for discovering his motivation.  Apparently this is the 294th mass shooting in the US this year!  President Obama is exasperated.  "We are not the only ( Read more... )
