For the sixth week in a row I am spending Wednesday and Thursday nights in a hotel room. Altogether seven different hotel since one of the weeks I was in two different cities.

That is approximately what I hear when I say that I like a thing and someone disagrees with me by saying, "Oh, no! That thing you like is horrible!"

"Oh no! That thing you like is ridiculous!"

"Oh no! You call that MUSIC? It's trash!"

In other words, (the way I hear it), "You are incredibly stupid for liking the thing you like."

I sometimes stay away from the "Post an Entry" button because I end up writing so many variations on a single theme: my life is wonderful, wonderful, bordering on perfect. Having untrustworthy internet has caused me to change the way I use the internet. Sometimes we have a whole uninterrupted hour or two, but most of the time it's five or ten minutes of interneting before the signal strength craps out and then it's a fight to try to get back online again ( Read more... )
