Today was our toiletry drive. We basically stood outside drugstores and asked for donations.. We did this in Brighton which is pretty Russian. So yesterday at rehearsal I heard about this text going around  saying that the bloods [gang] wanted to kill 34 women before the end of Halloween. So I didn’t feel so bad about nixing the whole Halloween parade thing since my friends couldn’t go anyways.

I went to bh photo [this huge electronics store on 34th street ] early in the morning and got this camera for only 100 since it was refurbished , instead of 300. Nice. Since my dad left for Nigeria and i had a photo project due soon I figured I'd buy one today.
