Yesterday I went to the volunteer orientation at the animal shelter, which went well. There were a lot of people there. I hope I can be strong enough to love the animals while I'm there and not bring all of them home with me!

Yesterday was saraphm's wedding, which was a sweet and simple ceremony in an Episcopal church in Farragut followed by an AMAZING reception at this white rentable house facility I had driven by thousands of times but never known what it was... turns out it has a magnificent garden with like, five fountains behind it. Lee and I saw Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest on Monday night. I was very excited, so much that I got dolled up for the occasion, in my red pirate-y tank top (purchased from the Pirates of the Caribbean gift shop at Disney World), my black skirt, fishnets, boots, and of course, skull and crossbones earrings.

I haven't really had a weekend... I worked at the zoo all day yesterday, baby-sat last night, and zoo-ed it again today. Been working the carousel, which is simple and well, colorful.
