- Jo and Glenn got married, the extended weekend we took as quite possibly the most fun I've had with my clothes in since getting back from Australia
- Sarah had her hen night in York, and gets married on Friday

It feels like since yesterday afternoon all I've done is drink. I've done it steadily enough so that I've never actually been drunk but haven't been completely sober either. Dad's surprise 50th Birthday party went fantastically well last night (our last guests left at 4am) and we somehow managed to keep it all a secret from my Dad until the first people began turning up. He was so touched bless him, and I had much fun being DJ Glindon with my iTunes and my trusty Gizmo.

So for one week and one week only I am a lady of leisure since I left work on Friday and don't fly down south until next Monday. I thought it was going to be really cool, but I'm kind of bored already and it's only the first day. I do have loads of stuff to do but not until the end of the week. Just realised I forgot to update with how much of an awesome weekend I had in Bournemouth!
Friday: Flight delayed from Newcastle because of snotty nosed child traveling on his own, obsessed with hot chocolate. Arrived in Bournemouth and ate pizza and watched football. Drank alcohol. Went to various bars and clubs in Bournemouth. Drank alcohol ( Read more... ) -

Huzzah! I've finished work for the Easter long weekend and don't go back until next Wednesday; that means 6 days of bliss! And I think I deserve it, I work a 40 hour week after all and while I love the people I work with and know they'll be friends for life, it's not the same as the idyllic student lifestyle ( Read more... )
