Bergdorf Blondes, by Plum Sykes -- Definitely chick-lit story of a privileged 20-something living in New York and her misadventures. The tone is definitely tongue-in-cheek and once the book is viewed as completely NOT taking itself seriously, it's extremely amusing. I am on quite the nonfiction route so far this year. :)

This is a REALLY interesting book that gives much insight into the background of the Mormon Church and the roots of the Mormon Fundamentalist movement (aka the polygamists). Definitely worth a read if you want to learn more without reading something filtered by the church.
