Memoir of the author's marriage and how it declined. She also has a blog (and is actually going through a very tough time at the moment with her son). I was glad to have purchased this used, because it just reminded me that I don't really like her voice and I don't like the way she tells stories.

The Time Traveler's Wife, by Audrey Niffenegger
Sweet and sappy novel about a man who travels through time to different points in his own life and that of his future wife's -- beginning when she is just six years old.  Definitely entertaining, though highly predictable.
