I watched my baby this morning. I watched her discover her hands, become fascinated by her feet and try to put both hands and feet in her mouth at the same time. I listened to her laugh and coo and saw her beautiful smile. And I was able to savor every moment ( Read more... )

Of course, they'll probably change again several times before the kid is actually born, but I feel better having a direction at least.

We were at dinner tonight and I asked Rose if she was going to help me when we had another baby. Her response was to fling herself back in the booth and say "Another baby! Oh, man!" Then she pointed at Jamie and said, "You're not finished with this one yet!"

I love my daughter.

James Gresham "Jamie" Duncan was born at 8:46PM August 31, 2008 after about 14 hours of labor! He was 7lbs 6oz and 20in long. He's adorable, and his big sister is already in love.
These are some pictures his Aunty Em took. I'll update with more pics and details later.

Well, my contractions are about every 4-5 minutes and lasting for 30s. So, it looks like we'll be having a baby today, or by tomorrow at least!

We've narrowed it down to these two for our new boy. 
James Gresham was Darrell's dad's name.  Andrew is my brother's middle name, and I've just always liked it.
If we go with James Gresham he'll be called James.  If it's James Andrew he'll be either James or Drew.
