They had the Tree Lighting at the Avenue tonight. My mom, my sister, and I met up with Mandy, Chris, and Connor for dinner over there. Santa came in on a dogsled for the lighting. I didn't get pictures of that since it went by so fast. But I did get some nice pictures of Connor up on Mandy's shoulders. He loved the tree. And they made it snow ( Read more... )

Ah, to have a weekend off! I'm still plenty busy, mind you, even if I'm not working. I spent the morning doing yard work and hated every minute of it. I really don't like any of it. It's been a rather tiring last couple of days. The newsstand in our store has exploded, largely because no one person (me!) has been focusing on it for the last few weeks. First, I was on vacation. Holy crap! I was just watching a fall preview show about the upcoming tv season on NBC. There's a show coming on Friday nights titled Crusoe that looks good, pretty epic actually.
