Despite the fact that I'm going through a little withdrawal due to the lack of Ravens football, it was a pretty good day. I watched the Bengals lose before heading up to my sister's house. My nephew's birthday party this past weekend was a rousing success. It was Toy Story themed. We got this awesome cake in the shape of a cowboy hat. Connor loved it! My niece was born on Monday night. Riley Elizabeth came into the world at 8:31pm, weighing 6 lbs and 14 oz. She is absolutely adorable, not that I'm biased or anything. My sister was slated for her C-section on Tuesday morning, but Riley had other ideas. Mandy had a false alarm on Monday morning and went to the hospital, only to be sent home. ( Read more... )

My sister is having her baby tomorrow. We're all so excited for the new little baby to join the family. And my poor sister is happy to be done with the pregnancy. It's been a relatively uneventful pregnancy, but she's had to deal with a lot of swelling in her legs and ankles this last month. Just one more day.

So, I had a fabulous time down Ocean City. I hadn't spent a week there for about ten years, so it was nice to do it again. We had great weather for most of the week.
