I suspect my ability to sleep is most powerfully correlated not with how tired I am but how much sunlight is in my room. It's the only explanation!

Went to an international event at a bar in Otsuka after work on Friday and talked to a bunch of people.

Early morning volunteering at a soup kitchen in Akiba, shopping in Yokohama, a dance class in Gotanda and dinner in Shibuya.

Will I beat this out of my system? I'm not sure.

Disneyland tomorrow!

I woke up at 3am this morning after falling asleep around 11pm, and rolled around for two hours before giving up.

Is this what being old is like? I'm scared! I love to sleeeeeeeeeeep.

I would not be so terribly unhappy about having to wake up at 6am tomorrow if I knew that there was actually a purpose. I am fairly certain that I am getting up absurdly early to spend the day waiting around doing nothing ( Read more... )

It is really cruel that Japanese garbage collection requires that you put out the trash in the morning. Before 8AM! I'm not sure how this is reasonable.

I need to wake up by 7AM at least on Saturday, so I've been trying to train myself this week. Wow it sucks. I'm still getting like eight hours of sleep, but when you used to get nine, that just doesn't cut it anymore. I feel like a zombie all the time.

Over the last week I've done a pretty good job of keeping to the schedule of bedtime by 12:30 and waking up by 9:30. If I don't have an alarm, though, I would easily sleep past ten. I don't know what my problem is ( Read more... )
