Being a hakka myself, I have never been to an authentic hakka restaurant. So 2 days ago I've brought my parents to this hakka restaurant, Plum Village, along Upper Thomson Road near Sembawang Hill Hawker Centre.

We ordered the signature dishes which includes: "Mei Cai Kou Rou" ($10.80)

Yong Tau Foo ($4.00)

Salted Chicken ($12.80)

Beef ball with brocolli ($10.00)

Hakka Fried Noddle (strange, I've never heard of this before despite being a hakka myself) ($6.00)

Total damage : $48.90 for 3 pax

Verdict : My parents and I vow not to go back again. We can do better ourselves  :-)
