Turns out, the stuff I've been calling Nyoro Nyoro is actually "shirasu", a kind of baby sardine. So really, I'm just going to keep on calling them Nyoro Nyoro.
What are those tiny wormy-shaped things with spots at one end served with Japanese meals? If I had to guess, I'd say it was Nyoro Nyoro (aka Hattivatit).
