After almost 8 years since I first set foot in Japan, I've finally made it past immigration. While I do wish I'd made it to Japan sooner, I'm glad I went when being paid in ££. Turns out, the stuff I've been calling Nyoro Nyoro is actually "shirasu", a kind of baby sardine. So really, I'm just going to keep on calling them Nyoro Nyoro.

I just got back from a sushi bar and am rather stuffed with nice good sushi. It was one of those places where all the chefs shout things when anyone enters or leaves. The only scary thing was when I stirred up the miso and two prawn heads floated to the surface ( Read more... )

The everpresent view of the new Arsenal stadium from everywhere near Hollloway Road makes me feel like I'm in NieA_7. It just needs the curly thing on top.
