So, I'm going to participate in NaNoWriMo again this year, of course. God knows I love that contest. It's so satisfying to get through the month having written so much stuff. I'm rolling along at a decent clip. I managed to stop at exactly 18,000, and decided to write one more sentence just so it wouldn't look quite as planned, LOL. But wow, I'm rolling along at a decent 2,000 words a day clip. Awesome ( Read more... )

Halfway-day and I'm halfway! Woot! My mom got sick, which put me behind. I started writing stupid Interludes, and ended up swapping out the interludes for passages I'd written before the NaNo started, swapping out as close to the same word-count as I could. I think I ended up a couple hundred over with what I imported, but whatever. I wrote a lot ( Read more... )

So, I managed 2040 words on the first day. I'm aiming to do 2000 a day so that I can knock this out sooner, and make allowances for days when I'm going to be dead on my feet because of work. At present, the Month graph thingy is fucked up weird, says I haven't done jack. Which is not true, but whatever. The minigraph is correct.
