NaNo Progress Report: Day 1
So, I managed 2040 words on the first day. I'm aiming to do 2000 a day so that I can knock this out sooner, and make allowances for days when I'm going to be dead on my feet because of work. At present, the Month graph thingy is fucked up weird, says I haven't done jack. Which is not true, but whatever. The minigraph is correct.
My progress report
Thus far (having taken a bit of a break) I've got 3,375 words. So, about 700 to go to reach my daily goal.
I also filled out my voter's ballot. Now we just need to drop it off somewhere. I really hope Obama wins; I don't like McCain, and I can't stand Palin. I really think Obama is what we need right now -- a president we can at least identify with, that seems to understand the average person.
