Got my taxes done this afternoon. Ugh. After seeing how shockingly, depressingly, little I made last year (and how very little of it I'm getting back) I realized that I actually do need to get a second job instead of just idly tossing the idea around. And that maybe I should start selling my crochet like everyone tells me I should.

I like Vanna's Choice yarns. I do. They come in nice colors, they're soft, they work up really nice. However. I HATE that they don't come in center-pull skeins. Hate hate hate.

I just wanted to show off my new yarn. I got it at a small yarn store a couple of towns over, and at 50% off. Score! AND it's machine washable, which I've found to be hard to find in the smaller, independent yarn stores. Double score!

I swear I am never, ever doing another project in all single crochet ever again.

I just had to frog almost an entire blanket because it was narrower than when I started it. Good thing I laid it out and measured before adding the second skein. But still, now I have to start almost completely over!
