Don't ever play the Wikipedia Game, even if you're bored. You'll lose time, your house will become a mess, your pets will bleat for food and you'll put off having a shower till "later". Oh, it's a beautiful sunny Sunday out there. I peep through vintage venetians at the gum tree sapling we freed from pestilence and staked, and the crepe myrtle billowing over the green of the lawn. For a week now, I've been watching Ian Ross heading up Seven News in the Victorian Bushfire region, tonight from Wandong. Now I'm watching In the Heat of the Night. This is the absolute best post I can do under the circumstances. I just can't concentrate. I have to make dinner (it's 9pm!) but I don't want to miss this film. I've been getting a bit nostalgic for things I've never actually experienced. T. said he wouldn't use the word "nostalgia" for it but that's just it. That's exactly how it feels. You definitely can miss what you never had! Here are some of the things I miss desperately:
