I do feel fantastic, but it is not to do with happy pills, and moreso with my rapidly disappearing cold. Also because I may gain a backstage pass to Video Game Live via work, since the composer for the symphony is also composing for our game, who also happens to be that guy from Electric Playground. Apparently they start charging me interest on Monday, and my documents aren't even available to be picked up yet, never mind sent to the Ministry to be processed. It's only washing dishes, but a job is a job. And since OSAP is giving me issues, it'll be nice to have some source of income.

In other news, I also have a cellphone now! As a matter of course, I immediately had to download "Monster Hospital" for my ringtone.

So, this semester has started out pretty all right. I'm making it to most of my classes (thus far, averaging two missed per week), I have a form of physical exercise (Aikido), I speak to one of my housemates on a regular basis (her name is Diana, or D.A. for short), and I have a start on the first few assignments (even though they're not due until ( Read more... )

I have once again joined the ranks of the employed, and I didn't have to go crawling to Tim Hortons' to do it. Which makes me happy. Granted, Safeways isn't that much better, but it should at least be a bit healthier (that is, until the Starbucks goes in).

I have successfully managed to get a job! Granted, it's Tim Hortons', but I might as well stick to what I know. Plus, noone else would even deign to call me for an interview. Wheee, got my job at Tim Hortons' back. Despite my better judgement, volunteered for the midnight shifts on Friday and Saturday (seemed like a good/not bad idea at the time).
