Not dead!

I have once again joined the ranks of the employed, and I didn't have to go crawling to Tim Hortons' to do it. Which makes me happy. Granted, Safeways isn't that much better, but it should at least be a bit healthier (that is, until the Starbucks goes in).

I'd like to try and get those interested in starting a band together this weekend, Friday at 5pm at my house. This time, I promise I won't go off painting, even if noone shows up until 7pm. And when everyone does, I'll even avoid making snarky comments about punctuality, despite how sweetly hypocritical it feels. I'll have something that we can start fiddling with, and everyone is welcome to bring a few songs to do the same. Before or afterwards, we can go to Kelly's and get tasty, tasty, inexpensive!smoothies. I'm pretty sure everyone I'm trying to get a hold of is on LJ, but feel free to extend the invitation to anyone else who might be interested.

I seem to be stuck in a rut at the moment, which mostly involves migrating between the many CRTs in the house. It's still a comfortable rut, but that won't be true for much longer. Hopefully work and band should jog me out of it.
