Previously, I have angsted over the lack of a graphics editing program on the school computers. I found an old version of Gimp on the Linux server! Yay for Linux. Now I can make icons again...

I had to make a post, if only to show off my new icon. Hurrah for Hsu and Chan! I have far too much time on my hands.

Everyone's coming over soon (i.e, a couple of days)...suppose I should be cleaning up and the like. Perhaps I'll make some ramen first. Perhaps I'll work on programming assignments. Nobody knows!

Mmmm, I love this kind of weather. Snowing + clouds + city lights = glowing twilighty mauve-coloured evening. If I had a camera, I'd take a picture, although even then it probably wouln't turn out quite right. To help, though, the sky is exactly this colour:

I can make icons with mspaint! woo! Although I do miss anti-aliasing. I also discovered that windows doesn't do crappy jpeg compression if you save it as a bitmap first (unfortunately discovered too late to save my third icon). The one next to my name is from VG Cats and the one in the post is from Slackers.
