Last night when I got home, I left my umbrella propped open outside to dry out, with no idea of the impending storm the wee hours would bring. This morning when I left for work it had been flung halfway across the yard and the handle was missing. Not just broken or detached, but GONE. I couldn't find it anywhere!

Tonight will be day four of graveyard shifts. Yesterday was not so bad - I was dragging my feet around 5am, but I didn't get super tired and nauseous in the middle of my shift like the previous two days, and in fact I was super hungry on the bus this morning and got a sausage and egg sandwich before coming home. Jeff is at a second interview right now for a management position at a new place in Lonsdale. I really hope he gets it. I am tired of seeing him come home drained and frustrated at the end of his shifts, which start at 3pm and often don't end until 1 or 1:30am. I hurt my knee somehow and now it is ridiculous trying to go down stairs or hills. It makes me really angry that I am not sure how this happened. I could be getting worker's comp right now!
