Khiaw Pak flew over from Bangkok to join us in Chiang Mai for the weekend and our first meal together was this very local Chiang Mai noodle called Khao Soy. The hotel recommended a nice little restaurant within walking distance and we all ventured there.

We visited this 3D museum in Chiang Mai on our second day. I read somewhere that the museum was founded by some South Korean visual artists and it is actually very interesting. Definitely a fun place for those who love to have their pictures taken. :P We spent about 2 hours there and had a good laugh as we did silly poses on the various paintings ( Read more... )

We had a BIG family holiday to Bangkok from 21-27 June. It was really rare for 18 of us to travel together but I guess Bangkok is a very easy place to go to and everyone can still go around doing what they wanted and meet again for meals or events. It's definitely a memorable vacation for all of us!

As this is our last day in Phuket, we decided to do all the massage and beauty treatment before going back home. There was a slight drizzle in the morning, we took a drive to Patong and looked for the saloon that we used to go to. One of the attractions of the laguna hotel is the two baby elephant -- Lily and Lucky. Every morning and evening, they will be walking around the hotel grounds and kids and adults can feed them and play with them. Thanks to my in-laws who volunteered to stay over at my place to babysit Ashley and keep my niece company, we planned for a short getaway with the two big girls.
