Another nice weekend over.  Friday night was pretty lazy...  Geoff came home a little early, and we had shepherd's pie for dinner.  We watched The Count of Monte Cristo, and various Friday night TV.  There was much snuggling because it was so cold in the apartment.  Geoff is very handy to have around in the Fall and Winter, he's so warm!  :-)  On ( Read more... )

I finished my last lab write up for the semester!  Yay!  I'm very glad to be done with that lab... it kicked my butt.  I hate, hate, hate doing analytical work by hand.  I have a much greater appreciation for all my instruments now.  I made my notebook all pretty and made sure it had all the info it needed and now I'm watching telly.  New episode ( Read more... )

Meh.  I was all set to be productive and such today... I don't know what happened.  We got breakfast at Friendly's since we were very hungry this morning, but didn't have any food in the house.  Then we went grocery shopping, and it started to snow.  :-)  Tilapia was on sale again, so I get to have fish this week.  Mmmm... I've been feeling really weird lately.  Disinterested and listless, lonely, unmotivated.  It really sucks, as I'm taking the GRE in one week, and I only started really studying today.  I really don't want to work on my lab write up that's due tomorrow, and the dishes so aren't getting done tonight.  I'll do them between classes tomorrow I guess.  I ( Read more... )

Spring Break is over already!  Where did it go...?  Oh right: 1 day of fun with Mom and Sis, 2 days at the dentist/cleaning the guest room, 2 days of wedding planning, 1 night at Sis' show, 2 chiropractor appointments, 1 hair appointment, premarital counseling, and church.  I got a lot done though!

Well, I'm back home now.  Christmas was kind of sad, but pretty good.  Sis and I made Christmas dinner, which made Mom and Grandma very happy.  I think we did well.  My chicken was delicious, and Sis's stuffed tomatoes were good even though they exploded in the oven.  My uncle made chocolate cheesecake for dessert.  Normally I don't like cheesecake ( Read more... )
