I am in complete and utter shock.....  I just looked through my new biz cards where the image cycles through differnet sets.   On one set I have PUTIN on the back.....   !?!     I am framing these.

I realized, yet again...  that I do like what I do for a living...  it actually suits me quite well.  Just have to be careful and continue to choose the right environment, the right people, the right product etc. 

Turns out that Bean Street in downtown San Mateo has wireless.  It is an absolutely adorable, small coffee shop with the most darling little window seat bathed in sunlight.  My co-workers out on our Friday lunch stopped in for coffee and the comment was "Is this your new office?"  :):):)  Huge coffee selection, and some very interesting beans ( Read more... )

Discovered that the Starbucks in "downtown" San Mateo nicely steals the internet from the unpleasant but tasty bakery next door.  Bakery closes early, Starfucks stays open late, and the vibe there is a bit less urban suburban.  You can (somewhat) fool yourself that you are in a ("the" is reserved for the one and only) city by sitting outside on a ( Read more... )

I could move to Seattle, NYC, or maybe perhaps even Israel (though that one would be the most difficult of all)... and keep my job.

I could also quit and travel for a few months come April.

Of course, almost anyone of us without commitments (children or family) can do this, we just do not realize it.
