Life's little pleasures: wi fi
Discovered that the Starbucks in "downtown" San Mateo nicely steals the internet from the unpleasant but tasty bakery next door. Bakery closes early, Starfucks stays open late, and the vibe there is a bit less urban suburban. You can (somewhat) fool yourself that you are in a ("the" is reserved for the one and only) city by sitting outside on a pretty day and watching the pedestrian traffic. Waiting for pretty days, but in the mean time, working and amusing myself with people watching from inside.
