Family-wise, My second niece, Ceili was born recently and her older sister, Bria started talking up a storm in multiple languages, thanks to her Italian grandfather and some Dora videos (naturally, I sent her some Japanese ABC books for Christmas). Went to Microsoft's X'05 event yesterday and got to check out some new 360 games. Definitely a mixed bag as far as games that look and feel like a new generation and some that are the same old thing with slightly better graphics. So I finally saw Kenjiro online again today and it turns out he was able to capture the show about the ryokan I stayed at (it was on at 4:30 am and after I had left Japan). Went to the market for a final look around before going out to dinner with Nakamura-san, Kanashiro-san and their friend Steve at a place called EN. Great food too. I guess I should have pulled a traycer and taken pictures of the dishes, but oh well... was too hungry and it was nice to talk to someone in English for a few hours ^_^

On Friday I went to Tokyo Game Show, and while it was fun, it's definitely smaller than E3, as I was able to see everything I wanted in only one day. It was mostly worth it, even though PS3 wasn't playable :( I did get to play some good stuff though, and man was there a tonne of stuff for mobile phones. We then went to a bookstore in I think Harajuku where I bought a couple of books for my niece.
