I am loving summer vacation.  Every day I do work, clean etc, and one some days I even sneak in a few minutes of stitching!  Not nearly as much as I would like, but enough to make a difference!  Remember Sogno?  This should have been a pretty quick stitch, but my life doesn't work that way anymore :)  So here is the latest with the progression wips

And yet the impossible IS in fact possible!  I somehow or another found time to stitch.  In my past life I would get up with D at about 5:30 and when he left at 6, I would stitching before getting ready for work.  The baby eliminated that completely!  But lately, she has taken to sleeping until 6:45.  SIX.  FORTY. The great snow "storm" of 2009 is over.  Well, actually, up here in Connecticut it was a pitiful excuse for a storm, but I send warm wishes to friends and family in the Mid Atlantic AKA the heart of the blizzard.  Anyway, I took advantage of the storm and of random down time over the past few weeks and finished the gifts for Em's day care teachers ( Read more... )

I knew a baby would cut into my stitching time but I did honestly think I would be stitching by now. Nope... sigh... But the latest cross stitch catalog arrived today and OMG I want to stitch almost every single pattern I saw!
