cross stitch withdrawal

Aug 17, 2009 20:17

I knew a baby would cut into my stitching time but I did honestly think I would be stitching by now. Nope... sigh... But the latest cross stitch catalog arrived today and OMG I want to stitch almost every single pattern I saw!

Check these out and then wipe the drool off your keyboards :)

How adorable are these Christmas fairies? and I don't even celebrate Christmas, or do any holiday stitching really, but how cute is this??

Occasionally I do Halloween stitching (well, I did one piece, a flat fold, but I love Halloween patterns :) )

And how lovely are these:

And I am also drooling over:

But my credit card is safe because I have a ton of patterns that are all drool worthy that are waiting to come to life. And the next pattern in line to be bought (year right :) ) is this one:

What is funny is how unique these are, and how different they all are both from what I have done in the past and what I normally gravitate to, and from each other!  The little one starts day care one week from today while I have a week of meetings and then school starts Monday the 31st.  I am foolishly hoping to have more stitching time when the semester starts, yeah right...  we'll see what happens...  Regardless, I never have Friday classes but she has Friday day care so Fridays are going to be devoted to cleaning, working and yes, stitching.  it is time to get back in the game!
