Occupation: Stage Actor - mostly backdancing and chorus line stuff.
Character History: Ohno Satoshi was born in the warm waters of Okinawa. As a child, Ohno would sit on the beach and watch the locals dance and sing. He'd help the fishermen with their nets and in return they'd give him fish they'd caught. At the age of 18, Ohno had the option to dry out and live on land or to stay in the sea with his family. Ohno chose the land and took up dance. He took a few roles here and there around Tokyo before finally deciding to pack up and move to the land of opportunity - New York City. Ohno has lived there for about five years now, working mostly backdancing and chorus line parts for Broadway shows. Ohno has no desire to be in the spotlight, he just wants to dance

Occupation: Freelance Photographer - Camera Operator (Television)
Character History: Sho's youth was, in comparison with the life he leads now, fairly ordinary. He was born an American citizen, his parents having moved to the USA soon after marrying in Japan, and grew up in Connecticut in an upper middle-class home. Being guided by his parents to choose the "right path" to success, he attended a prep school, played for the school's soccer team, took piano lessons, racked up community service hours, and eventually was accepted to Columbia University, where he majored and earned a degree in Economics - Operations Research.

But unlike his classmates, who used privilege as an excuse to do little more than drink and attend concerts, Sho's strict family life forced him to put dreams on the backburner, entering the workforce his sole priority.

RP Sample:

He didn't think she was fat, he really didn't! She was perfectly skinny, in fact, her body was not to be believed. But because she worked out on a regular basis, she'd developed some muscle, and not every pair of pants was going to suit her every line and curve.

"They don't make you look fat, they just... your hips just look..." Sho fumbled. Why couldn't he just say they looked good? What was SO DIFFICULT about saying the pants looked good? "Your hips are just biggish... with those pants on."

She scoffed and stormed back into the bedroom, shouting something about spending hours picking pout that pair. The real question was why she'd even bothered asking him about it then!

Sho dropped to the couch, grabbing for the newspaper he'd yet to finish skimming, drowning his sorrows in the sports section. There was hardly even a blip about the world of soccer. Today? Life sucked.

Character: Aiba Masaki

Occupation: Runs a porn/adult items shop, volunteers at the Central Park Zoo.

Character History: Aiba is ancient, and for the most part immortal. He can trace his earliest memories as a newly released demon (fresh from the underworld) back to a little island off Japan. He doesn’t remember exactly how old he is. Aiba has seen so many centuries go by and traveled for so many of them he can never be sure how much time has passed. He doesn’t really see the point of remembering those details anyway. Life is about the now

Aiba has taken many human forms, always male. He has held on to his most recent body since the 1960's, and he's lived in New York since 1979, enjoying the large city and his ability to blend in with the multitude of people and supernatural beings that populate it. He tries not to draw attention to himself, and often makes attempts to use his powers for good, though it rarely works out that way. It is a constant struggle in him to appeal to his own better nature, and not fall into the familiar, darker patterns that as a demon come so easy to him. As such, Aiba is wary of companionship. He has seen, caused, and experienced a lot of hurt, and is convinced he is always the cause of it (sometimes he is). He strongly dislikes other demons, mostly due to his general affection for humans. Try as he might, it never fails that Aiba will inevitably find himself tangled in the affairs of humans, but maybe, that was the point of it all.

Character: Misono (as in, Koda Misono)

Band/Solo/Ethnicity: Solo artist/Japanese
Race: Zashiki-Warashi. (Also found here)
Occupation: Currently? Unemployed. (Unless you count living with somebody and bringing them good fortune-and she does-in which case it is 'zashiki-warashi') I imagine that she will be finding employment within the game. And trying to live with everybody else for free. She also occasionally sells blessings of good fortune. She's actually got a permit to do it-like busking on street corners.

Character History:

Physicality: Phsyically, Misono is indistinguishable from humans. (Mostly. And anybody able to sense magical beings will be able to tell that she's not human.) She's short, has dark hair that is currently long and highlighted blonde. She's not fat but…she's Japanese-industry-standard fat? She's comfortable to hug and cuddle. She's got a round face and chubby cheeks and a big smile. At home she's apt to wear traditional kimono and yukata. She's also just as likely to wander around in

Powers: Misono's powers are largely innate, rather than active.

The first thing to know is that she is not always physically manifested. Being incorporeal she has no form and no mass but can still manipulate physical objects. For example: If her roommate wants her gone for the day she might just de-manifest and hang around anyhow, while playing small pranks such as moving her coffee cup around the apartment.

She attracts (minor to moderate) good luck and prosperity to the members of any household she is living in. Things have a way of 'working out' for them in a manner that seems almost coincidental. She also wards off trouble and danger in the same fashion. Leaving a home doesn't cause the household to fall into hard times-unless that's how it was when she moved in and providing that she is moving out of her own free will. If she's being kicked out or is leaving angry, bad things can happen. She cannot be forced into a household but she can be forced to leave
