No calls -fifth night in a row. I slept as normal people do. Bad start but a nice finish

I'm on vacation from Tuesday on and will be dumping my project off on the others.

Nice extended weekend began on Thursday headed to El Rancho to visit Madre and PadreDiablo.
With sampler flight stops at some solid brewpubs[1, 2 ], then an unintended detour at a bourbon distillery while on the way to a
back woods icehouse, produced a wonderful day.

The routine visit yielded one horror: PadreDiablo learned to text.

At the ranch, visiting Madre & Padre Diablo.

Lots of work clearing out dead trees and the heat doesn't make it easy wielding a chainsaw.
I spent some time with my head under a cold running water facet to recover this afternoon.
Taking it easy tonight as I need more rest, tomorrow's going to be a full day.

I'm at el rancho with Madre and PadreDiablo and things are looking up:

1. Doppelbock and Dunkel biers in the fridge where before it was crappy light beer. The German house guests didn't do that good of a job "cleaning out the refrigerator". I can handle this one.

2. High speed Internet access where before it was dial-up. Now I can catch-up on things ( Read more... )
