MDF day two began with a pre-battle feast and ales at Max's Tap house.

Aside from session ales, bottles of Belgian beer were sampled amongst the group.
No peanut butter porter touched anyone's palates though a tasty chili lager livened up the day.
Initial aches and pains began here and there but shaded sit-down breaks and perusing the vendor tents kept me going.
The vodka lemonade too but at $8 apiece, that would be visited once mid-day to take a break from beer.
Yes, I consumed plenty of water aside from the party beverages to keep afloat.
Stage A
►Castevet - too square/post-BM for me to dig, no menace.
►The Ruins of Beverast -decent/ave atmospheric BM that didn't come across well live.
►Solstafir -skipped
►Cancer -bass and drums were tight, the band needs to add a guitarist that can play leads.
If you're from Ireland, a green Les Paul is the way to go.
►At the Gates -up to par but I only watched three songs due to heading over to Ram's Head.
Stage B
►Mgla -real deal black metal, watched entire set.
►Necros Christos -excellent, evil mid-tempo death metal, live image kind of wimpy.
►Taake -decent/ave BM, didn't take in whole set.
►Agalloch -yawn worthy Cascadian-post-black metal, whatever
Rams Head Live
►Putrisect -missed due to schedule conflict
►Bölzer -Luckily, this band played an additional day/set as I would have a schedule conflict on Saturday
with their originally scheduled set. I crown them Switzerland's reigning BM band.
I think they blew their wad and the Saturday folks got screwed as the second show didn't go too well due to equipment issues.
►Enthroned - Black metal with plenty of menace -being Belgian, they were probably pissed off at having to drink Yeungling.
►Incantation -Godly death metal with doom touches, they delivered and what choice would they have given their reputation
and the status of MDF? \m/
